This is an awesome splash page by one the greatest Superman artists of our time. Wayne Boring has always been just about my favorite Superman artist ever since reading many of his stories in the 80 pg Giant editions when I was a kid. His style is so unique...and has greatly evolved over the years...and his best work, in my opinion, is from the 1950's. This particular page is from a landmark issue, which is Wayne Boring's very last time to draw the Superman character. And of course, Jerry Ordway's inks are just incredible over Boring's pencils. I have always wanted a page from this particular issue, but never dreamed in a million years that I would acquire the title page.

Hey Ike! Great to see this splash page here in your collection. I was wonderful to see what Jerry Ordway did with Wayne Boring's pencils when that issue came out!
