To badly misappropriate a quote...
He's no good to me... in another collection.

Oil on thick 11 x 14 illustration board. Roger painted the "Gone With The Wind" version (Style A) poster for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

Roger told me his contract (still in force, he thought) stipulated that he could only depict characters and events in The Empire Strikes Back.

That's why there's no Jabba the Hutt or Slave Leia art by Roger.

Roger had been invited to those Star Wars Celebration conventions but thought the contract was so restrictive that it wasn't worth attending.

So, to all those artists that are able to make a couple bucks drawing Star Wars characters, consider yourselves lucky.

Boba Fett was created by George Lucas, Ralph McQuarrie and Joe Johnston.

I think, for me, as a 6 year old there was nobody I wanted to meet - or be - more than Boba Fett. This is one of the nostalgiac goosebump inducing images of Fett I have ever seen. Bravo!

Bob Fett has alwAys been my favorite villain. Great painting of the most notorious bounty hunter in the galaxy!
