Olavi Hurmerinta (b. 1928) has been an incredibly prolific artist: he was an editorial cartoonist for the newspaper Uusi Suomi from 1950 to 1975, and also had a weekly cartoon page in the magazine Apu for years, as well as doing cartoons for tv magazine Katso AND illustrating several books - while also working as a painter, especially known for his landscapes and portraits!
