Such a great page, I was on pins and needles for a month trying to figure out how Cap would survive the previous month's cliffhanger. Also, I have always been curious as to why Don drew Cap with the 40's take on his shirt, no wrap around stripes and no star on his back? The Swordsman issues were when the teams really started to gel, I was always disappointed that Stan never developed the hero/villain aspect of the Swordsman, his next appearance featured him as a simple bad guy, all the characterization that went into his second appearance was ignored.

Quick correction, I meant to say just a star on his back.
