Superman Sunday Page

I've had this one for 20+ years and just got around to scanning it. I believe it is a tier from a Superman Sunday page (newspaper strip). It's a shame that the remainder of the page is not present, but this section is pretty sweet.

Much thanks to Paul Kupperberg, with additional research assistance from John Wells, who provided the following information::

"For close to its last decade, every SUPERMAN daily and Sunday had a comic book counterpart. (Imagine "Superman's Return To Krypton" as drawn by Curt Swan, for instance, as opposed to Boring's comic book version.) The newspaper versions generally ran slightly before the comic book stories. Since your tier mentioned the Octopus, I looked in my DC Villain database and found a character by that name in LOIS LANE #58 (July, 1965). I looked and, sure enough, it's a match. Check out the attached page. Based on this, I'd guess your Sunday page is probably from April or May of '65, give or take a few months."
