Chris SPROUSE / Al GORDON; Tom Strong # 3 cover

At the time I purchased this cover from the artist I had been fortunate enough to have been getting "something" from virtually every issue he drew starting with his run on Star Wars: Splinter of the Mind's Eye. But I recall there being a real money crunch for me and I could either get this cover or a couple interior pages, NOT both. Have you read this story? In it are not one, but two fantastic double-page split panel progressions, either of which I'd love to get my hands on. I've festooned my gallery with a lot of covers and pin-up shots because that seems to be what gets the most hits, but at the end of the day comics are about telling a story. As much care as Sprouse puts into composing a cover he puts twice as much effort into every. single. page. he draws and his storytelling is impeccable. You'll see what I mean once I get a chance to post more artwork but if I've ever regretted not getting an interior page, this would be that issue. But don't get me wrong--I dearly love this cover!
