DescriptionThis is an obvious companion to "Grooming Fairies" but I did not buy it until years later, after Al Rio died. I paid 50% over the list price to help his family. Kind of a sad story to go with such a happy picture.Social/Sharing |

What a lovely drawing, and just look at the expressions of joy that Al managed to capture on those faces.

I don't know how I missed this enchanting piece. Mr. Rio was blessed with immense talent. Bringing life to everything he did. I can almost hear the child-like laughter, a rhyming game perhaps, of these delicate creatures. It's a beautiful testament to Mr. Rio's contribution to the art world.
