This is my grail painting! I had been talking to Phil for years about a Batman painting and it finally happened. This may be his last comic related piece, since he is going away from illustration and just doing fine art these days. I wanted Phil to do Batman the way he wanted him to look and couldn't be any happier.

I am pleased with it! The birds add a lot to it. He liked them better than the original cityscape.

Thanks Daryl! It took me years to get this one and it was well worth it. He wanted to his own thing with Batman and I was more than happy to let him.
