Description

In 1945 Bob Clampett produced his final Daffy Duck cartoon for Warner Bros., and for me this one had it all! It starts off with Daffy waiting for his favorite Dick Tracy comic to come out, then becoming "Duck Twacy". How perfect for us comic book fans! Even though I liked this cartoon, I actually prefered the later greedy incarnation of Daffy as produced by Jones, Freleng, and McKimson. But I LOVED the Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes movies, so I couldn't pass this Limited Edition Cel up when it came out back in 1989. The cel is hand painted, the pose was taken from the original animation, and the background lithography is printed on premium stock. It's #331/500.
