Description
Love love this page has a real kirby / ditko feel with the 60's period aliens - a blast! For some reason panel 2 reminds me of Fantastic Four annual 1 with the alien in the seat in a very Kirby position ( a la Prince Namor). Just love the whole feel of this page and looks like Byrne enjoyed drawing it.

I'm with you Sean, as much as everyone has to have the main character in costume & action, I really dig some of these pages just as much, congrats!

Great page! Byrne is one of the few artists who can treat the whole Kirby/Ditko genre of styles and characters with real skill and affection. Next best thing to having an original 50/ pre-hero 60's Marvel Monster page! Some wild design work on the aliens, the furniture, the buildings - and oh my! Those hats!!
