Description

Benito Jacovitti (1923-1997), also known as Jac, was one of the best Italian creators of humorous comics. Among his many hilarious inventions, there are surreal strips made for an incredibly popular school diary (called "Diario Vitt"), published in Italy for more than 30 years (1949 - 1980).
Also this strip (which was signed by the author later, in 1991) was probably used for the diary, in some year when the Olympic Games were played, since the gag is related to the history of the modern Olympics (namely to London 1908).
I'm so glad to have added this piece to my collection!

Bella strip! Ho paura che Jacovitti sia un autore che venga dimenticato, risultando sconosciuto alle nuove generazioni. p.s.: grazie per seguire sempre la mia galleria! ;-)

Great as always, I love Jacovitti and sadly never owned a page ! And get one of those huge and nice Coco Bill pages !

Il vostro Jacovitti è uno dei più grandi geni del fumetto mondiale, sfortunatamente troppo poco conosciuto fuori dell'Italia.
