Description

This is a tight comp Bob did in preparation for a painting that, to the best of our knowledge, never actually did. Maybe he rethought the concept or maybe he's still planning on doing it when the time seems right.

Robert Wiener of Donald M. Grant Publishing has a book devoted to McGinnis' paintings of women (both his paperback covers and his gallery nudes) in the works: can't wait for that!

This is one of the things I love about the CAF gallery -- I know of McGinnis but have never "gotten" him. now I do.
