I will not lie. It took me a long time (far too long) to realize how awesome Sal Buscema is. At the time I started reading comics he just wasn't held in high regard. It wasn't until maybe 7, 8, years ago that I learned how good he really is and, probably more importantly, how many stories I remember from my childhood he drew. I've been looking for a while for anything from those early Hulk issues (well, early for me). I've seen a handful of pages from the issues that I know pop up but there were clearly pieces of the story, and rather expensive. To have come across this page is a truly great find for me.

I love how much it reminds me of those old Universal Monster movies. I half expect Frankenstein's monster to show up or to see Igor lurking in the background. Plus, it's Woodgod. A one note character whose time has come and gone but cool at the time.
