Batman by
Ron Salas
With the amount of pieces that will eventually be in this series of commissions, I'm quickly going to run out of adjectives when describing Ron's work. So let me just say now that's it's all awesome. Anyway, this time Ron drew Damian Wayne's Batman costume which first appeared in Batman #666. This costume got rid of the cape in favor of a trench coat. Ron himself said that he wasn't a huge fan of this design but I like the way that it reminds me of a pulp character detective more than a superhero. And Ron makes this look work perfectly here in this moody piece with Damian looking down on the city he's chosen to protect.
If you like this piece then please do go buy some books featuring Ron's work in either physical or digital format and/or go commission him yourself.
