Description

This is a recreation of a single panel scene from Brief Lives. In this scene, Destiny is flipping though his book and he catches a glimpse of the past where Death sits on the Yangtze River with a young Ox Drover. This story has never been told....we've only seen this single panel glimpse. It's located at Sandman # 47, page 14.

I asked Alina Chau to do this recreation because I loved her work and thought she would be perfect for this scene. I was right. This turned out amazingly!!! I am so absolutely thrilled with this painting.

Really like the stylized look. You can just imagine an entire story done like this.
