| Q: | Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why? |
| A: | This is an impossible question. There are so many that I like and there is no way that I can single one out as being better than the rest. I feel very lucky to have gotten an amazing Delirium painting from Josh Middleton. I love all of my "Sandman Saga" commissions. My Destiny commission from Jill Thompson is breathtaking. Honestly I think that I am lucky to have every piece from my collection. |
| Q: | Please tell us a little about yourself. |
| A: | I live in Oregon with my wife, two kids and three cats. I work in IT for one of the local school districts. I never seem to have enough time to do everything I need or want to do. |
| Q: | How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start? |
| A: | I've been collecting comic art since 1992. I started collecting art shortly after going to a "Dark Horse" convention. Frank Miller was there promoting Sin City and I took a Dark Knight Returns hardcover for him to sign. He was super nice and signed the book and drew a little Batman sketch in the book. At that moment I realized it was possible to buy original art and get commissions and I've been buying art since then. |
| Q: | How do you display/store your collection at home? |
| A: | I have some of my art framed and hanging, but most of my art is in Itoya portfolios. |
| Q: | What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions? |
| A: | 1) A Sandman # 21 page 2) Miguelanxo Prado commission (probably Dream or Death) 3) Teddy Kristiansen's Despair drawing from the Sandman 20th Annversary poster. 4) A Death (or Desire) commission from Joe Chiodo 5) John Bolton's painted page # 6 from A Romance Of Flowers. |
