DescriptionGot home from NYCC (2012) a little while ago to find a package from EvaInk awaiting me. Funny, 'cause Michael could have handed it off to me at the show..I'll see him tomorrow as it is!This is a character from an old issue of Tales To Astonish (#29) from a story called 'When The Space Beasts Attack.' The art was by Kirby and I just dug one of the 'space beasts' that he drew on the opening splash page, so asked Michael to draw that character. A great drawing, but as in the other sketch edition of his latest book that I have, the art is drawn on a 6" x 4" card that is pasted into the front inside cover of the book. Compared to the amazing, full page drawings I was used to for his first two sketchbooks, I was a little dissappointed that it wasn't larger, but it's still a very cool drawing. Next time I get a headshot, I'll ask for it in the earlier sketchbook. :) Social/Sharing |
