Done in 1986, this was gift from Jay (or Jon for those who know him as such) upon our first meeting during his first time at SDCC. We were introduced by his then agent Allan Spiegel who told me that Jay drew this for me while he was relaxing on Coronado beach. Just a little something to thank me for my support, as I had just purchased a sizable amount of his Moonshadow paintings.

Anyway, it's a lovely little piece. About 8x10, done in pencil and watercolor. It's dated 1986 on the right side and inscribed on the left hand side is a personalization that reads "FOR ERIC, BEST WISHES, J MUTH."
