Gray Morrow: Lois Lane #111, Rose And Thorn page 5

Great Morrow page from the Rose and Thorn back-up feature in Lois Lane #111. Unfortunately, Gray drew this page (or, rather, tiers thereof) on a cheap, thin paper, and then pasted it to a medium green-back illustration board. The cheap paper is yellowing, and the some of tiers of drawing are not perfectly affixed and have a slight "waviness" to them. There's a lesson here somewhere. (Would it be that I were by Mr. Morrow's side way back when to tell him not to do that!)

Pages from this story are TOUGH to find, and I'm not sure if the other pages are afflicted with the same problem. Still, gorgeous art by one of the true masters in comic art history! Because of the yellowing of the drawing paper, I also scanned this page in grayscale to give it a somewhat different look, and that is an additional image for this piece.

If there is an afterlife, the great Gray Morrow is there producing more artistic masterpieces!
