Description

Black and red ink, wash, colored pencils on 7 x 22 paper.

One of S. Clay Wilson's 'Dead Sea Scrolls,' signed 'Steven Wilson' on the back. A drawing done in June 1958 when he was still in high school. The future genius is already there.

Note how the pirate glaring at the viewer in the center of the picture is the spitting image of Wilson in his sixties.
