Description

The published version differs in a few ways:

The Wanted poster was added
The pattern on the stockings was whited out
The orientation of the floor was changed so that it slants in a different direction.

The 3rd additional image is the "restored" cover by CAF fan favorite, Chris Ivy. Using a scan of the original art, Chris created an overlay with the mechanical art and the "non-Cardy" Wanted poster. The image is Chris' overlay over Nick's original art.

From what I can tell, in this period Marvel tended to cut up art and use lots of whiteout when trying to re-work cover art. DC tended to make stats to enlarge/reduce/move images and work from there.

Bat Lash was created by Denny O'Neil, Sergio Aragones, Nick Cardy and Joe Orlando.

Bat Lash was the home of my favorite Cardy work and I loved everything he did. What a terrific cover. Congratulations.
