Batman Convention sketch w/Simonson

I obtained this sketch at a terrific convention held in a hotel basement in Philadelphia back in 1986. I asked Marshall for an illo of Batman holding the Joker and he was really enthusiastic about the piece at first; he finsihed off the Batman figure but lost steam when it came to finishing off the Joker, so he just added shading under the hat. A few years later, Walt Simonson graciously added in a Joker face for me and this sketch remains one of my all-time favorites!
