Description

Full color paintings by Nick are becoming scarce, as he has gone back to b&w inks mostly, that he colors in Photoshop instead. It allows him to work faster but I love his paintings and since he isn't doing any new ones lately, I have had to track down any of the stuff that;s already out there, such as this beauty. This was the painted cover to Team Angel: 100 Page Spectacular, from the Buffy-themed series from IDW. Although Dark Horse has the rights to Buffy, IDW had the rights to Angel and Spike, among others. I believe the partnership with IDW was dissolved so that they could be used in Buffy: Season Eight. Either way, this is a great full-color piece by Nick and it's very large, at 13x23 inches or so.

Special thanks to fellow CAFer Tim F. who sold me this one and actually sold me my first Runge piece, which was the cover to Angel #21. So Tim introduced me to Nick's work and both times he was very smooth and easy to deal with. This one even came already custom framed, as seen below, which is even cooler. Thanks again Tim!
