KnightQuest: The Search. Quarry, Part 2 of 3. Asp, continuing to turn Shondra Kinsolving's healing skills into a murdering weapon, threatens to kill four more heads of state unless his demands are met. Fearing that Bruce Wayne will also be one of Asp's victims, Alfred attempts to enlist the help of Batman...but the Dark Knight, consumed in his own violent agenda in Gotham City, is reluctant to come to his predecessor's aid.

Now back in Gotham, Bruce Wayne finds out a little more about Benedict Asp, even as Asp tries to use Shondra to kill him from afar. Luckily, as Sire Hemmingford Gray is the intended target, Bruce is merely weakened by the attack - he survives, but must get to a hospital. Here, when he expresses his intention to continue the hunt for Shondra and Asp, endangering his health yet further, Alfred is disgusted, leaving his employ, and stopping off at Wayne Manor just long enough to ask the new Batman to look out for the old. Bruce deliberately calls attention to Sir Hemmingford Gray's presence in Gotham City, so Asp sends men after him. He is kidnapped from his boat, which was his intention, with the new Batman totally fooled by a decoy.

Barreto is an amazing artist (Sadly, he's also one of the most underrated ones) and this is an amazing example of his craft - strong layout and beautiful, noir inks. Congrats !

Thanks guys. I had my eye on this page for a while. I the inks look amazing in person. The seller was from Brazil and had a lot of Barreto's work. No of it was signed but I think they were friends or family.
