Description

One of my two newest Pete Hawley acquisitions! I think this one is just adorable. There is a photo of this image on the May 25, 2009, entry on Leif Peng's blog, "Today's Inspiration." I believe it's from a facial tissue ad by Swanee Paper Corporation since tissues are featured prominently and I know the companion piece was definitely used in a Swanee toilet paper ad. The artwork itself is in black and white, and the color is applied to an acetate overlay. Pete's family was kind enough to offer me some of the reference photos for some of the pieces I have, including one for the little girl blowing her nose!
