Description

According to Josef Rubinstein:

"(This) was traced from Adam's original model sheet for an ad for the Penthouse Comics books if I m not mistaken.That was published and returned to me.

It is one of two dozen or so examples of JR’s art that is showcased on his representative’s site at www.theartistschoice.com. Herricane was a character featured in Penthouse Comix and done at least occasionally by Adam Hughes. At the time I bought it (not from Joe), my understanding was that Rubinstein was Adam Hughes's inker for this character at least sometimes.

I am still vague about how unique this piece is, but, at a minimum, it is a faithful and dynamic rendering of a Adam Hughes babe done at the peak of this powers by a famous and distinguished inker who has a peculiar talent for flawlessly translating pencils (and in this case, I believe blue pencils) into inks without losing any of their power.

I'm listing this under both artists. If anyone thinks this is inappropriate, let me know.
