DescriptionI'm not sure if I'll ever be able to get my hands on a great Epting Cap cover, but the truth is, the Brubaker/Epting run on Captain America not only got me into Cap but also really got me back into comics in a big way in my adult life. That run really is responsible for my foray into comic art as well.It had been a real shame that I didn't have some sort of representation of the magnificent Winter Soldier arc in my collection, and now thanks to Nick, I do. Appreciate it!! The page is really lovely. Social/Sharing |

Wow. You snagged a GREAT page from the definitive Epting cap collection! That has everything you could ever want in a page with nothing but awesome images of Cap. I love that page!

Jonathan, you picked a stellar Captain America/Winter Soldier story example from my collection. I agreed to honor your request to purchase a page because you have the same passion for the character, and for the artist, Steve Epting, that I have! Enjoy it; I know it found its way to a great home!

Phenomenal Steve Epting Captain America page! Love this wordless panel page with Cap exploring the Nazi dungeon where they held prisoners. This is such a moody, mysterious page! Love the moment when Cap sees the two Nazi guards firinging their guns at him and charges right at them! It's a thrilling moment! And then, in the final scene, Cap peers through a open space and spies on a meeting, secretly. Love Epting's inks as well, they give the page its mysterious mood. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
