Sadly, you do know that Paul Smith didn't touch this, right? It's only Wozniak inks over a light boxed Paul Smith drawing. At least one other collector was confused by the poor description on the batch of ebay auctions, and wasn't too pleased...

That does seem like it would have been a lot easier to disclose by just saying it was light boxed, rather than the eBay item description below. I would have bid on it anyway, but I appreciate the extra info! :) Iconic STORM pin-up drawn by X-Men Artist Paul Smith with nice finishing Inks by Marvel and DC Artist Chris Wozniak. Not a print or "blue line" Inks. An original piece of comic art. Free Shipping. No Reserve. On Aug-13-15 at 09:16:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Live art area is 10X15 inches on premium Strathmore Bristol Board.

I was going to warn you but others already did. Wozniak was selling a bunch of lightboxes on ebay without disclosing it. I hope you knew what you were getting, if not, I hope you can get your money back

No worries. It was still a good deal as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah- I checked out the auction, and I would agree that for the price, it's a nice piece. Someone else paid a lot more for one of the other auctions and was a bit upset. Luckily, if you wanted to dispute it with ebay you still have time...but it is nice!

Regardless of the history of the piece, it is stunning, one of the drawings the most close to the feeling of those wonderful early Smith X-Men.

Glad you like the piece... Also glad that Dave is getting the info out there about these misleading auction descriptions regarding these Wozniak light box pieces. I think Wozniak should NOT replicate the original artist signature- instead he should use "Wozniak AFTER Paul Smith." That would help future owners of these pieces from being further confused.
