Description

Henry C. Heier was an illustrator who was born in 1904 and working in advertising illustration for most of his career. He did a few LIFE magazine covers in the 1930's when it was still a humor magazine, tons of advertising work, based out of St. Louis, for Budweiser, Wrigley's Gum, Coca-Cola and others. He would have been 67 when he painted this knockout fantasy nude harem girl in 1971. I hope to write an article on Henry for an upcoming issue of ILLUSTRATION magazine. Acrylic on board. Gorgeous!
