Description

This was one of two sketches by Mark which were offered as rewards for the Kickstarter campaign for "The Girl from the Gulf," a book by Mark Kneece and Ambrose Hoilman. Done in shaded pencils, the piece is featured in Schultz's art book, Carbon 2, published by Flesk Publications. Beautiful woman + giant sea monster = classic Schultz!

Now if only he would start doing some more Xenozoic Tales...

I love Mark's pencil pieces. They are just so beautiful and this is no exception. Love how the sunlight streaks are in the water and the girl seems suspended in air.
