Description

This was an extremely big surprise for my wife. We recently celebrated her birthday and our 24th anniversary and we had both been working long hours and just didn't feel like doing much at the time.
She has always supported me and I wanted to do something spectacular for her Wonder Woman collection so I contacted Joe since he was going to be at the Heroescon show and asked if it was something he could work out and he said yes.
Now once he was done he posted it on Facebook and got a huge response and that is being mild it was actually massive response. Everybody wanted this piece. So Joe brought it with him to Charlotte and I told him to put it behind his table and show it off. He said people were coming out of the woodwork wanting the art.

So I had walked over with Helen and when we got there I told oh crap honey don't look. Because I knew she would love to have it but she was already saying it was out of her price range. So finally on Friday she wanted to go to the room and I told her let's go and make an offer on the Wonder Woman and she looked at me like yeah right you have to be crazy.
So we walked up there and asked Joe if we could take a closer look and he said sure go ahead. After a few minutes we walked to the front of the table and I asked Joe what he wanted for it and said "Sorry it's a commission it's already sold" and my wife suddenly goes "SEE I TOLD YOU IT'S ALREADY GONE" and was she upset. So I said to Joe look we are good friends and known each other a good while how about giving it to my wife. She looked at me like I was nuts and suddenly Joe grabbed the painting and handed it to Helen and said here take a closer look at it. She looked at him like why it belongs to someone else.
Suddenly Joe staying in character said "Aww what the hell go ahead and take" and my wife looked at him and said "DON'T MESS WITH ME LIKE THAT" and about the second time she said that she suddenly snapped her head my way and said "DID YOU DO THIS" twice and I just smiled and said Happy Birthaversary. ;-)
After that it was all over she lost it and even surprised me with her response. I love this woman with all my heart.
