DescriptionA Bruce McCorkindale recreation of the the wonderful wizardry of Gene Colan & Bill Everett's Black Widow page from AMAZING ADVENTURES #5 page 3. Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board. After completing this commission Bruce remarked, "Given how much I stared at this page at the age of 9, I should have been able to ink it from memory!"The story from which this page is taken is entitled, "...And To All a Good Night." Congratulations on a great idea, beautifully executed, Ray! There is a reverent awe in my brain, and a new undisputed Emperor of CAF! This recreation is an epic coated treasure with a sweet, graily center. I'm hoping that Bruce makes a few dozen more of these. That way, should the original surface, my similarly afflicted collector brethren will say "Why would I want a second one?" and my young boy dreams will finally come true. It could happen!

Methinks, Drake, Bruce and many others share this obsession. I wonder who has the original? This will do till whoever has it dies and you can try and tear it from their cold dead fingers. Lol.
