Description

An incredible Venom commission by Tom Raney.

I commissioned this one from Tom along with the Black Panther one. And considering I was disappointed by the odd pose choice Tom went with for BP, his rendition of Venom is fantastic and made up for it.

The crouched pose he drew really makes me think of a big tarantula on the prowl, waiting for its prey in its tunnel web. A truly monstrous rendition.

Tom is a big talent.

A great commission! The inking on this is stellar and is something I always look for with characters that mostly have one color in their costume! Congrats!

I'm really not a Venom fan at all, but I do enjoy Tom Raney's work. Great job on this piece, despite the subject. haha!
