DescriptionThis has always been one of my favorite Batman covers... I use the term loosely since this is actually not a "Batman" cover, but instead the cover to issue #2 of the Huntress miniseries from 1994. Nonetheless, it has always been one of my favorite Batman images. A bold, strong, gritty, in-your-face version of Batman from a time when Batman was just starting to head in that direction.I've always loved the badass and no-nonsense feel of this cover. A dream come true and a nice accomplishment for my collection. As many of you know, all four covers of this miniseries joined together to create an image of the Huntress in the middle. This explains the empty black space in the lower left corner of the cover image. See the additional photo for an example of the published covers joined together. Huntress #2 - "Breaking Cover" released by DC Comics in July 1994 Social/Sharing |

I quite agree. Although everyone has their own favorite version of the bat costume (and many do not prefer the yellow chest oval), I always enjoy seeing this version because that era in comics from the 70's to the 90's holds a special place in my memories. Far superior to the current costume if you ask this old, nostalgic guy 😉

Great cover! The best of the four!
I used to own all four of the covers and traded them to a dealer a long time ago!
