DescriptionThis has an interesting story! My ex girlfriend had gotten this done by Adam back in '92. Adam had asked her which outfit she wanted on Rogue and she left it to him. He wound up drawing the same outfit my ex was wearing that day at the con! We had broken up later on and she moved away. Years later when we were talking on the internet I asked if she still had the piece. Even though alot of her belongings were lost in a fire this piece survived at her mom's house. Measures 11"x17", there is a fold in the middle of the page that I have tried to flatten over the years. there is some yellowing to the page (more like off white) and some minor stains. The piece is drawn in pencils and is dated 1/11/92.Social/Sharing |

Yes! I agreed he could keep the art, with all the other pieces he has.. but, it will never make it to the wall!

No, unfortunately her mom did while storing it, not knowing it's value (sigh!)

Some guys would have killed an ex-girlfriend for a Hughes sketch, at least your wife does not have to visity you in jail over it. Thanks for sharing.

Well.....there's lots of ways of looking at this......the picture is SO VINTAGE, it's barely an Adam Hughes...and on the upside.....the same can be said of some old girlfriends!
