Description

Pep Comics #17 (Archie Comics 1941) by Irv Novick with the words, "Here he is fellows, the Hangman!" Yep, the very first appearance of a Golden Age hero -- THE HANGMAN.

Logo added digitally -- original art was bereft of its logo --I believe Novick himself did the watercolors on the cover as he gifted it to a friend...

ummm....WOW! Not sure how I missed this before, probably because you have SO MUCH great art that diamonds get missed among the other gems.
