Description

A GRAIL! Alan Davis is one of my favorite comic artists, period. And although I own published work, I've coveted a commission from him for years. The pandemic sucked for a million reasons but it did open up a rare window for Alan to do full-size commissions that he inked himself. I HAD to jump at the chance because it might never happen again.

Just the smile is worth it for the joy Davis brings to his characters! Beast in an action pose and Davis' talent of rendering dynamic anatomy is on full display.

I love it when Davis inks his own pencils. Davis makes everything look amazing! Congrats!

I don't think I've ever seen Beast drawn so well. Love the profile of Hank as well. Alan just never fails to impress.

Beautiful score, Jason! The jubilance we always associate with the bouncing blue one just flies off the page here, but the "shadow" of his past self looms large and adds a lovely bittersweet element to it; a great tableau of both the "public" and "private" Hanks. Gorgeous work by the ever-amazing Alan Davis; sincere congrats on scoring a full-size commission!
