Description

Big fan of Mike Grell's Starslayer: The Log of the Jolly Roger comic and just loved that cover from issue #8—Wanted Dead or Alive! Made me wanna join up and do some bounty hunting, Fett style, but was bitter sweet with Iron Mike dropping his interior penciling duties. Either way, my second favorite series from Mr. Grell!

Nice mix of techniques by Grell for this cover. The wanted poster is drawn softer like a Nick Cardy style. Great quality indie.

Brilliant. And the fact that he was comfortable with the actual Starslayer being such a small figure in the corner is a sign of his confidence in what he was doing. Almost anyone else would have felt the need to make that figure at least twice as big.
