The wash and white paint is quite good on this as it conveys the sweeping vibrancy and glory that is Doom. His excellency strongly suggests that you not call him a spillover nor spill over your chalice of 2021 artwork onto 2022.

Nice pose and perspective. As you would expect, Doom looks down upon his subjects. We're not allowed to look him in the eye, so we can only see him in muted tones.

No need to explain that this year's pieces are spillovers, much less from what year. Who cares? All that matters is that anything you post is new to your CAF gallery, regardless when it was purchased, and nobody actually knows but you. Shit, many of my posts are spillovers from 5 to 6 years ago!
Great Doom piece. You had me with the throne on top of skulls! Who doesn't love skulls in their illustration?!?

A majestic looking Doom! And you gotta love he's looking DOWN at you :) And Scalera...his style is so unique and he seems to be getting better and better. Love the shades of grey on this one. Congrats, Kavi!

To my defeated enemies and Latveria! To Doom! The moment felt like it needed a Doom toast. What a sweet Dr. Doom commission! Matteo gets him, that's for sure. And all the artistic tricks and effort he put in is so so nice. Congrats!

Absolutely killer commission! Mateo Scalera paints Doctor Doom sitting on his stone throne atop what appears to be a mountain of skulls. Fabulous composition, great inks and beautiful ink wash. That's a one and done.
