DescriptionThis was actually the first Star Trek piece I had done by JK Woodward. I just wasn't posting on CAF at the time. Now I feel more comfortable posting here due to other collectors posting here as well. When I started my Wall Of Doom, JK was one of the first artists I contacted. He knocked it out the park. I've been seeing his work with IDW with Star Trek. His style really caught my attention. I wasn't sure if he'd be on board to do a Star Trek piece of this level. He was extremely excited to do it. Since he's a fan of the show me throwing my thoughts and him basically responding with what could be displayed artistically. My original description was to have Sisko in his quarters with a drink with flashes appearing above him of the three other characters. But how do you draw that? He asked if I wanted Ghosts? That just wasn't the feel I was going for. He proposed this "Struzan Style" piece. Which is exactly what you see. As soon as he said it, it struck me like a Mack truck. I've seen Struzans work all my life. And that is exactly what I wanted. Well doing pieces dedicated to certain episodes was what I wanted to do. Now Season 6 of DS9 had many memorable episodes, but "In The Pale Moonlight" was one of my favorite. It distance itself away from all that "Federation Dogma" you see nonstop in TNG. It felt so real and ugly. Which is right up my alley. JK used iconic images from the episode and brought it to life. ART SPECIFICS: ART SIZE 12"x18" Social/Sharing |

Fantastic piece! Still one of the best hours of television ever produced, and this artwork does it justice!
