DescriptionThis political cartoon by Winsor McCay still has plenty of bite nearly 100 years after publication. I’d been searching for a good one with a universal theme that would continue to be relevant for a long time and this one certainly fits the bill.Social/Sharing |

A beautiful illustration, and as you have mentioned, amazing the relevancy that it still holds today.

A timeless observation indeed. And the art is absolutely beautiful in those 2 scenes. To be able to realistically draw houses, landscaping & boats equally well, perfectly situated in their surroundings, takes a pretty skilled & experienced artist. Very cool.

A McCay is on my wish list. This is a great example of his editorial work. And yes, still very timely. Some things (like good art) never change.

Plus that looks just like your house (not saying which panel).

That means you've indirectly contributed to pay the other guy's house as well. Social fairness is still a great utopia 🙄 Excellent piece by this legendary artist!

This is exactly the kind of McCay to have in one's collection. So of course here it is in yours - no surprise! Benno was great to see you at OAX
