DescriptionA crown jewel in my collection! Appeared on the X-men covers starting with issue number 123. Also appeared on the back cover of the IDW Byrne X-men artifact edition. Why didn’t Phoenix make the cut? She was initially directed to be. But no one remembers exactly why. Very cool piece of history. Interesting they never added Jean/Phoenix considering the role she played in the title, but still a fantastic piece of art regardless. Congrats!
