DescriptionAhhhhhh…. X-men events are the highlights of the stories … so many classic ones … and Age Of Apocalypse is one of the best ! Total reboot of the entire universe. It was shocking and the things that came from it still reverberate 30 years later. Lots of collectors chase X-men even more chase these important event pages, so I am incredibly lucky to have been able to pick this title splash up from the X-men Chronicles , the book that told the origins of Magnetos Astonishing X-men in the AoA universe. The Magneto Splash by a young Terry Dodson and pros pro inker Klaus Janson would stand on its own without the historical importance … not a lot of published magneto images are better than this one in my opinion.Believe it or not Klaus had had this since the ink dried and finally decided to let it go… Jason S gave me the opportunity to buy it and I didn’t hesitate lol. I love the blending of the styles of Dodson and Janson. The fact that it's on the splash page to one of the best issues from the Age of Apocalypse crossover makes it all the more amazing. This page is pure gold in my book.

This is indeed a great image and from a fun series that dove more into the AOA. Nice capture!

Pretty cool from the AOA converted quarterly title. A massive sized special that had some bite to it with backstories we actually wanted more of that AOA world. Dodson vs Janson pairing is rare. Very dashing to be able to seduce Rogue in this timeline.

Outrageously cool pick up! Didn't realize Dodson worked on this. The style is quite different than his current stylings. Love it all the more for it!

What a title splash, man! Downward perspective with Mags lookin' slightly up right at you, surrounded by the captions giving the low down on him and mutants in general - killer stuff. Big congrats!
