Description

This one was practically an impulse buy. Ethan Youngs been on my radar for a little bit but I saw he had a sketchbook he was releasing and was offering small sketches inside the front page. I liked the idea and the format and decided to switch things up from the usual Rocket(which stung a little) but instead I opted for a character whos in my top 2 or 3 from DC and high on my list of superheroes in general. If you've seen any of Youngs work irs pretty apparent he can draw almost anything and make it look awesome, and I'm not sure what my expectations may have been, but he far exceeded them with this textured, detailed depiction. I feel like I got a steal at the price and the rest of the art in this book is great too. Seriously love the subtle posture and hatching that give life to the man with no face.
