Bob McLeod and Brett Breeding Action Comics #656 Story Page 8 Original Art (DC, 1990). The Black Racer meets up with Clark Kent on this page. The Racer was one of the characters that Jack Kirby created in the early 1970s as part of his epic Fourth World Saga.

Great to see McLeod pencils and creativity in the storytelling on this page. He plays to Breeding's strengths as an inker with sharp dressed characters and slick use of interior settings.

I have fond memories of this issue - from Gammill's epic cover to the incredible interiors by Mcleod & Breeding ! Great pickup !
