Description

I believe the legendary #121 sold at Sotheby's in the mid-90s and has remained complete to this day, which made finding a page from that storyline challenging.
This is the only page from #120 with Gwen in it and we get a complete foreshadowing of the events that would transpire in #121 and #122.
Gwen would only appear in another handful of pages, so for me this is a pretty special piece.
Peter's internal torment over the choices he has made and what he could do to help those he loves just wrenches at the heartstrings of the reader, especially considering Peter's naivety and how his role as Spider-Man will pull him away from what matters once again.
John Romita does an incredible job of embellishing the Gwen figures on this page and I feel he worked well with the unique angles that Gil Kane would create on his pages.

Fantastic. You forgot one thing in your description. ' foreshadowing of the events that would transpire' Clearly neglecting to mention a Black Cat cameo in the bottom panel, preceding by many years issue 194. Lol.

Classic Peter Parker melancholy that evokes several ASM covers and splashes of the era. The Gwen shots are magnificent. Way to collect, my friend!
