After nicely setting up the TnA bar scene with a ½ splash on the previous page, we get a fantastic full splash of the main (Omega wo-Man) character of the story, Felicity.

What I really like about Spiegle women is that they are sexy and yet realistic in their proportions by way of his cartooning, far away from, let’s say, the Wildstorm, Top Cow or Extreme canons of the 90s (my teenage years) when any super heroine was a potential porn star 😊 (an approach that certainly had its roundish merits in my eyes at that age 😊)

Spiegle sense of setting up a scene shines yet again with the from above camera angle he chose, her slightly tilted figure and everything else pointing to her entrance (the row of lights left, right and above her, as well as the two cheering customers, fully shadowed to better focus on her whiteness).

Plenty of details to note, like the way Spiegle subtly indicated that she has fur all over her body with tiny broken lines here and there, the various inking choices inside the folds of her clothe and the slight use of negative space to delineate some of features on the two males. This is clear sign to me of an artist both having fun with and taking pride in his art.

Probably (one of?) the nicest page(s) in the book.

Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr …(expecting the usual kitty jokes, now 😉)

Spiegle sure could draw some nice titties, couldn't he? I'd get more excited but when I see she's covered in fur, it's kind of sobering. Gorgeous page!

Well, well, well - what have we here?!? Wowie zowie, this is fantastic work by Mr. Spiegle that positively howls "Omaha, the Cat Dancer" to me... I mean, yeah, sure, Felicity obviously, but the shape of the shadowed patrons in front sets the location right in the heart of Mipple City if you ask me. :) Sort of a pre-"Images of Omaha" tribute? I guess "Omega-ha Men (the Cat Dancers)" is the Amalgam version we (unfortunately) would never see... :) Beautifully drawn fun and sexy page, F M (but then, I'd wager you already knew that :) ). Interstellar pick up, Fred! Congrats!
