DescriptionOn the return leg of my 800-mile June road trip to pick this up, I stopped to show this to a friend and fellow CAF member. After examining it for a moment, he looked up and said, "You could be done."I’m posting this on Thanksgiving to express my gratitude for this stunning example of what George Pérez did best – which has somehow found its way into my collection. George revisited "Crisis" as part of the 2010 series "DC Universe Legacies," a ten-issue comic written by Len Wein that retold the history of DC through the perspective of an ordinary man. George penciled issues #5 and #6 and drew the connected covers on a single, 17x22-inch CrossGen-branded Bristol board. While perhaps not as well-known as some of George's other jaw-dropping covers, this piece is no less impressive in detail and impact. It features 78 DC characters (listed below) battling each other and the Anti-Monitor while the heroes try desperately to save people from the antimatter wave that will end the multiverse. Damn you, Krona. And while I am not “done" after adding this piece, it certainly has had impact on what comes next. --- Accompanying images featuring the stunning color work by Allen Passalaqua. Ok but you COULD be done ;)
Love poring over these Perez masterpieces and plucking out the most obscure characters. Brilliant addition, Tom.

Thank you, Nick. After years of gawking at online images and comics featuring some of George’s epic wraparound covers, having one in my collection is pretty amazing.

Now this is Pod Racing!
(Now that you have a Perez Air Wave cover, I suspect your collection focus shifts to a different Hal Jordan!)

Well, being that I have the cover to Green Lantern 144, I think I have all the versions of Hal Jordan in a Perez cover now.

A fantastic two point perspective layout to bring depth from two streets at once! It's great that Perez did the fisheye lens effect tooso everything can be wrapped within this incredible view!

wow, WOW, absolutely awesome Pérez wraparound cover, I've still got some study time left on this one (hmph, no OMAC, I'm gonna need to see the Manager), congrats!

Hey, you are right, Joe . . . no OMAC. But then again, the Kirby incarnation was not in the original "Crisis."
However, you should take comfort in the fact that DC Comics Presents #61 with OMAC is some of George's finest work, from which you have the best pages.

Logic says there was a prelim, but he was so good at these kinds of massive scenes, maybe he just winged it?
