Description

I have been after a Spidey in the black costume from Byrne for a while, and I was not able to get one!! I was thrilled to see one posted to the forum. Normally, I am not a fan of changes to iconic costumes, but I have a real soft spot for this costume, and John does it justice. As always, eh ereally fills up the page and went with a classic pose to showcase the spider symbol. Thanks to Stuart Knight!!

His inks on this piece are so much cleaner looking than most of the stuff he's done recently. Compare this to something like the Ghost Rider piece he did. Night and day. Good to see he has such range as an artist.

Not an easy character to draw without backgrounds but Byrne did a great job on this one. Love the white accents that bring depth to the character and it is very well posed so most of the board is used. A great addition to the formost Byrne character commission collection.

Very nice! It has a Frenz feel to it but is still very much a John Byrne piece.
