Description

Personal work painted in 1995. Approx size 22 x 16".

Later used as the cover for "Chronicles of the Lensmen Vol 2" compilation of E.E. Doc Smith novels, published in 1999 by the US Science Fiction Book Club.

Featured in "The art of John Berkey" by Jane Frank, published by Collins & Brown in 2003. Featured in "Illustrators 46" in the profile article celebrating Berkey's inclusion in the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame for 2004, published in 2005 by Harper Design.

Also featured as part of a huge artist profile of Berkey in "Expose 5: The finest digital art in the universe" and included as a lift out poster, published by Ballistic in 2007. Featured in a lengthy artist profile of Berkey in "Illustration #36", published by The Illustrated Press in Jan 2012.

Acquired from the Frank collection.
